BtVS 7x22 Chosen / AtS 5x22 Not Fade Away

#i love this contrast #cause there is also a huge contrast between the shows #btvs was always optimistic #while ats dealt with the harsh truths more often than not #in btvs they were usually happy for more than a few episodes at a time #and we always had faith they would destoy the big bad #and both shows are so great #but i love how they developed different flavors over timed #this contrast is so beautiful and #it’s wonderful how showing it is in the last shot #ats is about fighting even though you will never get rewarded #btvs is about saving the world

i remember Joss commenting about the contrast , how Buffy is about a journey becoming a woman and Angel is about redemption and fighting. (cf Amends when Buffy tells Angel that fighting is hard and its every day ) 

Angel wanted Buffy to have a normal life and now she is going to have it , and Buffy wanted Angel to keep fighting and that’s how the two shows ends :)
